Rooster Ridge Boer Goats
Rooster Ridge Boer Goats is a small family owned and operated breeding farm located in Kewanna, Indiana. We are focused on raising show quality boer goats with proven bloodlines. Our goal is to raise better boers with each generation and offer quality offspring for sale. When we got in to the Boer goat business in 2009 we wanted to start small and chose the best quality animals we could afford.We traveled to many different farms and sales looking for our foundation animals, and finally got started with one doe who had length, width and good bone, along with many other characteristics we liked. Since then, we have purchased three more does, and kept one of our doe kids as part of our foundation doe herd. While our numbers are small compared to most, we are very proud of the quality of animals that we have brought to our area and are looking forward to maintaining and improving upon the quality of our herd.
The foundation bloodlines at Rooster Ridge Boer Goats include SWE Main Event, SGR Brass Eggs, ONBG Troubador and 2DOX/Rose Double Shot as well as other great names in the Boer goat industry and we are looking forward to continuing the tradition of excellence that the breeders of these fine animals have set before us. In order for us to maintain the quality of our herd, we have a very strict standards as to what animals we keep, and what animals we offer for sale as potential breeding animals.
